Keep Your Water Filter in Top Shape: A Quick and Easy Guide!
Weekly Cleaning: To keep your water filter performing at its best, clean it once a week!
Cleaning Steps:
Close the Drain Valves: Make sure the two drain valves on the IcePod are closed.
Remove the Filter Housing: Twist it counterclockwise to take it off. For easier removal, open the air vent to release any vacuum.
Rinse and reinstall: Thoroughly rinse the filter with lukewarm water, then place it back in position.
Filter Replacement: Filters usually last about 30 days. If you see black markings or green algae, it’s time for a change!
